transformational week of mind, body and spirit 22 - 27. september 2019

We look at how meditation can open the door to your creative field, from where you can create and transform anything in your life. We will explore leading – edge new findings about how meditation can change your biochemistry and genes, heal your body and interrupt negative thought patterns. Also, we look at how you can change your autoimmune response in your favour and avoid unnecessary stress in your life.

The yoga: the yoga classes will be at a level for everybody. Every class you can adjust to your body’s needs. We begin the morning with an awakening, fresh, and revitalising class and in the afternoon, we end the day with a more restorative, relaxing series of yoga asanas and breathing exercises.

The meditation: Every session, including our yoga classes start or end with a meditation, either sitting or lying down and suitable for any level.

The week is led by Chalotte Inannah Fruergaard, spiritual teacher, international programme leader, yoga and meditation instructor and author. The retreat is led in english.

We will be practising our yoga and meditation sessions in their outdoor spaces. Sometimes we will be treating our senses by welcoming the day with our morning yoga in the upper terrace with its panoramic views of the Mediterranean coastline. Other times we will practice by the pool feeling cool and mesmerised by the water and in some occasions we will be seated around the large table in the terrace listening to inspirational talks. We will take meditative walks in the Garraf National Park and join the community for Qigong on the stunning beaches of Vilanova.

About Can Ramonet

The location we have chosen for our retreat is a stunning area in Catalunya. We will be staying in a unique 16th-century traditional Catalan farmhouse with much history and wisdom located in the Garraf Natural Park, just 10 min from Sitges and 25 min from Barcelona Airport. The Farm is surrounded by more than one hectare of vineyards with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea in the background. The delicate and responsible way in which the owners take care of this place and their guests makes us feel extremely privileged and grateful to be able to share such space with you. Because of its close connection to nature and history, the owners are putting great value on acts of sustainability such as water and energy saving, heritage conservation and landscape integration


You may wish to spend a few days before and /or after on the coast. There are two towns close to Sant Pere De Ribes where Can Ramonet is, one is Sitges which is 4km away and the other Vilanova i La Geltrù, 9km away. Both equally great, Sitges is more turistic, lots to offer including night life and plenty of restaurant. 5 minutes away on the train and you are in Vilanova i La Geltrù, a hidden gem in Costa Dorada with its long beaches, buzzing local life and fantastic local fish restaurants. Prices are considerably lower than Sitges and you would be inmersed in Catalan life style with its long Ramblas, stunning main square with its tapas bars and lively markets.

You can look in airbnb for places to stay but if you have any questions ask Teresa, she can advise you with her local knowledge, she can also host you in her own apartment 100 metres from the main beach in Vilanova.

How to get there: Flight to Barcelona. Then either take a taxi for around 60€ or coach from Terminal 1 to Sitges (7.10€) with www.monbus.cat and then taxi to Can Ramonet (14€)

What to bring: yoga mat, towel for yoga and pool/beach, warm clothes and pen/notebook.

Chalotte Inannah Fruergaard is from Denmark. She is a wellknown teacher in her field. Since 1994, she has delivered various programmes internationally. She owns a yoga studio in her home town, where she integrates a holistic approach to life and leadership. Perceptive, incisive, ruthlessly honest and professional, she is renowned for her compassionate approach and for producing outstanding results. In 2012 she was rewarded as “Trainer of the year”. Author of the book “It is all about love”, Lemuel Book 2009. 

Retreat leader since 2007 in Greece, Sweden, Denmark and Spain.

Teresa has delivered personal development programmes to thousands of people, including in partnership with Charlotte Inannah. Her role as co-host is to ensure that each person’s needs are met and they leave thrilled with their week in her home region of Catalunya! Teresa currently lives in Brighton, England, she is a trustee of a children’s charity is South Africa and the founder of another charity in Brighton liaising with grassroots groups in Calais supporting refugees . Married with two teenage daughters, her challenge in life is to make a difference as a Conscious Activist and to support others in their own journey.
